What else can we say?
We feel it is a great tragedy that so many children and families have lost out on the opportunity to enjoy their local waterways, like we used to. Seemingly everywhere in America and bordering countries, our waterways have become unclean, unhealthy, and seen as blights on local communities.
But when we see a community able to enjoy a river that was once avoided…
When we see a thriving ecosystem, where stagnation and disease once ruled…
When we see a mining operation save time, money, reclaim precious materials, by being compliant and responsible in their pond and water maintenance…
When we see a once under-utilized piece of land transform into a successful, ecologically sound real-estate development…
When we see a shoreline restored to its former glory…
When we see these things a Watermaster can do, it warms our hearts, gives us hope for the future, and renews our passion for the work we do.
This is why a significant amount of our revenue is being set-aside to cover the costs of humanitarian or environmental projects that would otherwise never get done, were it not for us, our team, our community, partners, and of course, the Watermaster!
